Days 75-76: Michigan to Wisconsin

August 13 and 14, 2025 which had Our Delite in Frankfort MI and then Sturgeon Bay, WI.

When we checked into the marina at Sturgeon Bay, WI, they said the Budweiser Clydesdales would be showing up today and actually delivering beer! So Rayma and 2,500 of the local showed up to watch.

On the days before Frankfort, Lake Michigan had waves reach above four feet and at intervals of under three seconds. Those are not conditions in which Our Delite wanted to cross the Great Lake. Finally, the conditions subsided and we were able to cross with only 1-2 foot waves every 2.2 seconds. Only a little wind and bright sunshine. We arrived in Sturgeon Bay about 1 pm.

Frankfort, MI - Jacobson Marina - What a great place! Wonderful marina and right on the side of town with restaurants and everything. Great spot.
