Days 55-58: Back to MacKinaw City

July 29-August 1: We left Duncan Bay to return to Straits State Harbor in MacKinaw City because our friends, John and Liz, were arriving from Australia. We gave them a bit to get acclimated to being on the boat (not to mention the time change). There was this Highlander Village set up next door to the marina in the City Park that we toured to and from dinner and maybe desert.

Train them young!

There were a couple of other little spots along the way (can you say Ice Cream Parlor without smiling?) . . .

Today, we returned to Mackinac Island (having visited previously with Heather & Crew) but this time, we rented bicycles and rode around the island. We had perfect weather and it was a beautiful afternoon.
