Day 40: Rain rain go away

July 11, 2025: With the repairs done, we left Jefferson Beach at 9 am to cross St. Clair Lake and get on the St. Clair River, which connects with Lake Huron. As we made our way northward along the western shore of the “Michigan thumb” it started to rain. To be clear, the water was flat - no waves - and little to no wind but it was raining, particularly the last two hours. We made it into Harbor Beach around 3 pm and tied up for the night in a nice big slip.

Emma, the dockmaster on duty, not only helped us tie up but took us into town for groceries. Service with a smile!
