Day 22: Dean’s Last Day Crewing

Dean and Tom found a car they like.

June 21, 2025. It rained and then it poured and then it rained some more. Something these Californians are not accustomed to - summer rains.

Dean and Rayma picked up a rental car, then hit Target, Home Depot and finally Wegman’s (for our friends in California - think Whole Foods). Then Dean and Tom went back to Home Depot and several other stores shopping for folding chairs and something to use as a table for playing cards. They ended up with two chairs that can actually be stored in one of the holds and an Igloo ice chest on wheels with cup holders in the lid. Perfecto!

Later, Ess-Kay Yards held a summer solstice potluck for its patrons and we had nice time chatting with other Loopers, comparing notes and commiserating over little foibles. And then it started to rain again. We made an early night of it because Dean is catching a flight in the morning. Thanks again Dean for all your help.
