Insured!

Rayma is a retired insurance defense attorney so she knows a thing or two about risk and insurance. When Lloyd’s of London got persnickety about Tom and Rayma’s experience vis-a-vis agreeing to insure them, Rayma was not agreeable to Tom’s plan to go without. Accordingly, today included big welcome news that the insurers agreed that Tom and Rayma could captain their own boat.

Proud to tell the world they are Californians!

Seriously time to get ready to push off - including the flags to fly on the boat. Given the current politics (because they will be going into Canada), they chose a California flag and the Looper Association flag.

A few more errands to run before the big launch. Jill (First Mate) and Tom spent part of the day on a dinghy drill. Also had to make sure the sound system and the AC work!
