Days 94-95: Getting ready to stop.

September 2 & 3, 2025: Green Turtle Bay Resort in Grand Rivers, KY sits on Lake Barkley but behind it is Kentucky Lake. So it is a resort town and has its own version of Knottsberry Farm, called Patti’s. We had dinner there (delicious if artery-clogging). After dinner we took a little tour of the property as some of our photos show. The above video is when we were being taken to our dinner seats.

We also went to a local coffee shop - Iron Bell Coffee - and it is hands-down the most beautiful coffee shop we have ever seen. It is also where we met fellow Looper, Elizabeth Hovell. She and her husband, Ron, live on their boat, Certitude, and have completed the Loop three (3) times! She provided us a wealth of information that ultimately led to (wait for it): Change of Plans.

Change of Plans: We are now headed to Iuka, Mississippi to leave the boat. (Instead of Clarksville, TN). We are aiming to get there by the end of the week and to start our drive home next week.
