Leg 2: Day 6 - Demopolis, Alabama

October 20, 2026: At the Kingfisher Marina in Demopolis, Alabama - a wonderful marina - where we came in yesterday afternoon. We spent the day relaxing, doing laundry and hitting the grocer store in anticipation of not having access again for a couple of days. We had, as can be seen, perfect weather. This turned out to be a very social marina with lots of Loopers. One of the best stops we have had with other Loopers.

One of the fun parts about this marina (at least for us) has been the turtles! Sunning themselves on logs. We also threw a green grape to one and wow! Did that turtle go after that grape. In water, they are not slow pokes.

Tomorrow we head out at 7 am aiming for “Bobby’s Fishcamp.” Wish us luck.
