Day 46: Riding out the Rain in MacKinaw

July 18-19, 2025: The original plan had Our Delite leaving for the North Channel on July 18 but the Weather Gods became temperamental so we decided to stay put and dry. We did have the usual chores to do (laundry and groceries) so it was an opportunity to get those done. Getting groceries always involves a little tour of whatever the locale may be and in this instance we got to see Weinerlicious.

No, we did not eat at this esteemed establishment.

We took the Zander on a long walk which included a Mustang car show. Much to see and enjoy there - with Tom comparing it to his 1965 Mustang convertible.

Our tour of the local area included some other … unusual sightings.

While we have been on the boat, waiting out the rain, we have also watched (been nosey) about the other boats and boaters. Tom of course has talked to almost everyone - on the docks and the car show. Thus far, two boats of the same make and model with a sticker price in excess of $3M have come into the marina. We were not the only ones being nosey about that.
