Day 81: Montrose Harbor, IL

August 19, 2025: From Kenosha we again headed south toward Evanston, IL where we had reservation at Montrose Harbor. While the conditions had been reported to be significantly better, they were not quite that but much calmer than the journey from Kewaunee to Kenosha!

The trek to Montrose was sort of sad because we had to say goodbye to Alyssa and Marcus. But they had to get on a flight back to California. And we needed to prepare for our next crew person, Dan.

That means laundry (of course) and grocery shopping (duh). We had dinner on the beach. We have arranged for Zander to go to a doggy day care so we can do tourist-type stuff in Chicago with Dan before we start back on the Loop.
