Day 82: Dan arrives in Chicago

August 20, 2025: A morning spent scheduling marinas and checking information for our trip down the Mississippi. Then our friend Dan arrived. Dan will be our crew for the next week or so as we go through Chicago, down the Chicago River, the Des Plaines and Illinois Rivers to the Mississippi.

The weather? Sometimes cloud, always breezy but also warm.
