Day 16: Dean Arrives

At The Dinsosaur BBQ House in Troy, NY. Tom and one of his oldest friends, Dean.

Dean, an experienced sailor, joins us for the Erie Canal. As one of Tom’s oldest friends (as in years they have been friends) he knows us well. Dean is one of the most adventuresome people we know. As much as we love Jill, Dean is a great first mate not only because of his experience level in sailing but also his history with Tom. We are very excited to have him on board as we enter the locks of the Erie Canal.

Tom and I went spotted this de-masted sail boat going up to the locks. I found some interestin signs in store windows. And, of course, Zander had to welcome Dean on board.
