Leg 2: Day 2

October 16, 2026: This was a BIG day - four (4) locks in 60 miles and it was Rayma’s turn at the helm. Oy vey.

In a lock, looking back at “Sea Venture” two brothers from Kosovo! We were in a pod of boats - total of seven - going through all four locks.

The boats in our pod behind us. Our power cat can move at a higher speed than most of the v-hulls; however, the lockmasters won’t let us through until the rest of the pod is in place.

The temperature dropped and the wind picked up. By the end of the day, there was a “red flag” weather warning!
