Day 14: Onward! to New Baltimore
We left Rondout Yacht Basin and continued north to Donovan’s Shady Harbor in or about New Baltimore. Relaxed day. Jill went to the pool; Tom took a nap; Rayma listened to her book while sitting out on the bow. We had a good visit from the harbor host, Diane. Then we went to dinner, sort of celebratory sort of a good-bye dinner because Jill leaves us tomorrow. She has been a pheno-menal crew member acting as cook, deck hand, dog sitter/walker and more. Cannot imagine having started this adventure without her. She walks in grace. We are so lucky.
Twinsies.

A new model for our brand!
Could not resist including a photo of these guys from the Rondout Yacht Basin.
Tomorrow we move on to Troy, NY. Jill will fly back to Charleston. We have errands to run to get (more) ready for the Erie Canal and our next crew member, Dean. Dean, like Jill, has sailing experience. A long time friend of Tom’s, he is ready, willing and able to help us through the Erie Canal.
